The Faculty of Law on Thursday May 26 held a candle lighting session in honor of one of their students who perished in a road accident. Godfrey Otunga met his death in the early hours of Sunday May 22 when a motor bike he was being ridden was involved in a head on collision with a saloon car in his home area in Trans Nzoia County.
The Faculty of Science together with the Directorate of International Linkages & Career Services (IL&CS) organized a students’ career development seminar at Main Campus in Njoro. The one – day seminar titled “Future Ready Career” took place on 25 May 2022 at the Physical Science Complex and was facilitated by Mr Lameck Mito a Business Development Officer from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) – Kenya.
One hundred and sixty Agriculture students from the 'ambitious' Karima Girls High School visited Egerton University from 24-26 May 2022 on a learning tour. Five of the teachers accompanying them, including their Deputy Headteacher Josephine Mugwe, were Egerton University Alumni.
