Egerton University was among top institutions represented at the CEIL Summit 2025 in Mombasa. The summit ran from 11 to 12 September at PrideInn Paradise. The University was represented by Prof. Bernard Aduda, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academics, Research and Extension, and Prof. George Owuor, Director of Research.

Dr. Flora Nekesa Fedha has been re-elected unopposed as Dean of the Faculty of Education and Community Development Studies (FEDCOS) at Egerton University. The unopposed victory is widely seen as a strong endorsement of her performance, signaling the confidence that faculty members and students place in her leadership, vision, and service delivery. During her first term, Dr. Fedha championed several academic, professional, and community-focused initiatives.
