Egerton University has once again topped the charts in Kenya, Africa, and in the world in the January 2021 webometrics ranking that scored universities on 'Impact', 'Openness', and 'Excellence'.
We were honored to host the Commission for University Education (CUE) with a focus on further enhancing the internationalization of our academic programs. During the visit, Dr James Ngugi of CUE expressed interest in collaborating with us to develop content that highlights the potential of Kenyan universities, aiming to position Kenya as a hub for world-class higher education.
Egerton University recently hosted Nanjing University at its Vice-Chancellor's Boardroom and various other parts of the campus, further solidifying the collaboration between the two institutions. The visit was marked by a special invitation extended to Prof. Isaac Kibwage, Vice-Chancellor of Egerton University, to visit Nanjing University in China. This invitation was issued by Prof. Liu Yutao, the former Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute at Egerton, symbolizing the growing bond between the two universities.
