A day of major significance unfolded at Egerton University as a remarkable coincidence brought together top government, diplomatic, and academic leaders, resulting in a joint pledge to deepen research, student exchange, and international collaboration.

Naijing University’s vice president and team today paid a visit to Egerton University to check on projects and programs. The objective is to assess progress of ongoing joint projects and programs.

Egerton University has reaffirmed its leadership in environmental conservation through a strategic partnership with Safaricom Limited, aimed at contributing to President Dr. William Ruto’s national goal of planting 15 billion trees by 2032.

Egerton University is seeking new collaborations with institutions in India. The goal is to enhance education and research.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Isaac Kibwage led an Egerton delegation. They met with India's High Commissioner, H.E. Dr Adarsh Swaika. The meeting was described as "highly productive."

Prof. Kibwage was joined by Prof. George Owuor, Director of Research, and Prof. Ouma Omolo, a lecturer. They discussed pathways to deepen partnerships.
