Participants at our Legal Aid Conference that took place on 8th - 11th Dec, 2020 at the Sentrim-Elementaita. The conference which was the first to be held at the national level in the country brought together experts from different fields to discuss the present and future prospects of legal aid in Kenya.
Through its support to 24 academic research centers of excellence in eight countries, the Eastern & Southern Africa Higher Education Centers of Excellence (ACEII) project succeeded in enrolling over 8,000 students, of whom one-third were female, in Master’s and PhD programs, as well as in short courses. To support capacity in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), the project focuses on five regional priority areas: agriculture, applied statistics, education, health and industry.

Starting from 29th January, the Egerton University COVID -19 sensitization team has been going around Njoro Campus hostels and off-campus hostels to sensitize students on COVID-19 preventative measures.
