It is 12.30 pm. The Bowie University President arrives at Egerton University. In the serene corridors of Egerton University, a palpable buzz filled the air as Bowie University President walked into the Vice Chancellors Chambers to explore new avenues of collaboration.
At the 2nd RUFORUM Triennial Conference, Egerton University's Vice Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Kibwage, joined Gulu University's Prof. George Openjuru in a panel discussion reflecting on the impact of TAGDev 1.0. Prof. Kibwage emphasized the transformational changes brought by the program at Egerton University, highlighting how agriculture, often associated with poverty, has been repositioned as a lucrative field for young people.
A jubilant atmosphere filled Egerton University as Vice Chancellor Prof. Isaac Kibwage proudly received the trophy from the triumphant team of law students who won the inaugural East African Moot Court Competition in Arusha, Tanzania.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Kibwage, has made several appointments across various faculties and departments at the University, aimed at strengthening leadership and ensuring continuity in academic and administrative functions.
