The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Kibwage, has made several appointments across various faculties and departments at the University, aimed at strengthening leadership and ensuring continuity in academic and administrative functions.
Dr Samuel Nyaga has been appointed as the acting Chairperson of the Department of Veterinary Anatomy and Physiology, effective 6 August 2024, for a period of three years. Dr Susan Mwaniki has been appointed as Associate Dean, Faculty of Education and Community Studies,for a two-year term beginning August 2024. This marks her first term in this role.
In addition, Dr. Moses Gichuki has taken on the role of Chairman/Coordinator of the Integrity Promotion Committee, with his appointment effective from 12 July 2024. Dr Elisha Ogada was appointed Deputy Director, Quality Assurance Directorate, on 10 September 2024.
Alice Kemunto Maranga has been appointed as the acting Chairperson of the Nursing Department for a three-year term, effective 11 September 2024. Meanwhile, Dr Josephine Khaemba Mulindi is the new Chairperson of the Department of Literature, Languages, and Linguistics, with her appointment effective 30 August 2024 for a three-year period.
