Egerton University will hold its 44th Graduation ceremony through virtual platform on 17th December 2021. This is in refernce to the information that appeared in the media that our students died in a road accident on Sunday, 28th at Chepseo along Nakuru - Kericho Highway.

We have followed up the matter and confirmed that the students mentioned were not from Egerton University.

Our sincere condolonces to the parents and families who lost their loved ones in the accident.

This is further to our Notice issued earlier on suspension of physical learning dated 27th March 2021.

After further consultations on the 15th Presidential directive on corona virus, we have been instructed that the University be closed until further notice except for medical students.

All students are therefore required to vacate the University premises with immediate effect taking along their valuable items.
