WORK EXPERIENCE

2024: Lecturerat Egerton University, Human Nutrition Department, Faculty of Health Sciences. Main duties include: Teaching, supervision and evaluation of students on field attachment, projects, academic advising, curriculum review.

1999 to 2023: Assistant Lecturer at Egerton University, Human Nutrition Department, Faculty of Health Sciences. Main duties include: Teaching, supervision and evaluation of students on field attachment, projects, academic advising, curriculum review.

March-May, 2022: Supervising and training of International students from Boitekanalo Universitys, Botswana on Foods Systems Management.

27th February, 2020: Information Security Management System Champion  (ISMS)  Department of Human Nutrition. Basic duties to include  maintaining information security and to promote availability of data for authorized use.

12th -16th May 2018 : As part of my PhD studies organised a Development of food   based dietary guidelines in the Lake Victoria region.   Participants were policy makers in foods and nutrition related  fields.

19th -21st February, 2014:  As part of my PhD studies organised a goal setting workshop in the Development of food based dietary guidelines in the Lake Victoria region. Participants were policy makers foods and nutrition related fields.

2008-2010: Resource person at African Institute for Capacity Development in-country training for small farmers on value addition for small-scale Agro-processors-fruits and vegetables.

2005-2009: Examination officers at the Department of Human Nutrition. Basic duties included: ensuring that departmental examinations were set, moderated and proof read on time, preparation of invigilation schedule and that, the examinations were administered as per the University Statutes.  

1987-1988: Worked with the Ministry of Health as a Nutrition officerIn-charge of Kericho County.
