SUMMARY

DR. MARY MANYANGE BOSIRE is a Lecturer in finance and investment management. She is also an experienced  proffessional banker and trainer, having worked in the banking industry for eighteen years. Mary is passionate about training and mentorship with good exposure from the industry as well as Academia.  She has extensive practical experience in financial  and investment management. The industry and academia exposure forms a great foundation for achieving the passion of training and mentoring students. She has supervised nine Masters students to completion and  has  thirteen published articles in international refereed Journals. On administrative roles, Mary rose through the ranks in the  industry, from clerical to  supervisory and eventually to managment position after which she joined academia. She has been an examinations officer (AFMS Department -  Egerton University) as well as Chair of Department (May 2019  -  May 2025) - AFMS  in the Faculty of Commerce. She is a member of Egerton University Research Committee. On community outreach, Mary has been a member of the Board of Trustees for the KCA University (2020 - 2025), a member of the Board of Management in a number of public and private schools  as well as taking leadership roles in the local Church
