Representatives from the Nursing Council of Kenya, Kabarak University along with officials from Nakuru County Referral Hospital today paid a courtesy visit to Egerton University DVC Prof Benard Aduda- Academic Affairs.
The purpose of their visit was an introductory discussion on how to foster partnerships and improve nursing education a head of today’s Nursing pinning and oathing graduation ceremony at Egerton University, Njoro Main Campus.
The delegation was led by distinguished member of the Nursing Council Dr Anne Mukuna, Prof. Pamela Kimeto of Kabarak University, Nakuru County Referral Hospital official Humphrey Njuguna. Egerton University team included Prof. Mwanaharusi Saidi, Registrar Academics, Dean of Faculty of Health Science Prof. Samson Obure, Alice COD Nursing, who shared insights on emerging trends and challenges faced by new graduates.

The meeting emphasized on the importance of preparing nurses who are well-equipped to serve in diverse settings and highlighted the university’s role as a key partner in achieving this goal.
Prof. Aduda expressed appreciation for the visit, noting that such partnerships are essential for advancing healthcare education and service delivery. He assured the delegation of Egerton University's commitment to supporting training programs and assured National Council of Nurses ( NCK) that the graduands have attained high standards of professionalism during the training.
Today, Egerton University's nursing graduands not only celebrate their academic success but also step into a future full of promise and purpose, inspired by leadership and unwavering support from the university and mentors.
