BUGS/FAP is mandated with the review of, and recommendation to the Senate on, the quality of undergraduate programmes. The Board also coordinates and facilitates field/industrial attachment (FA) and teaching practice (TP).
Egerton University, Kenya, in partnership with the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) and Gulu University in Uganda, through the support from MasterCard Foundation, is implementing a Program titled “Transforming African Agricultural Universities to meaningfully contribute to Africa’s Growth and Development (TAGDev)”.
A delegation from the Arava International Center for Agriculture Training (AICAT) and the Israel Embassy in Kenya paid a courtesy call to the Vice-Chancellor on Tuesday, 24 May 2022 and participated in a workshop to sensitise students on the AICAT programme in Israel.
Professor George Morara Ogendi has been appointed to head the Board of Post graduate studies at Egerton University effective 18th August 2022.
