Njoro, Nakuru County — A delegation from the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) has commended Egerton University for its contribution to agricultural education, youth empowerment and community transformation during a courtesy call on the university's leadership at the Njoro Main Campus.
Egerton University hosted a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation exercise for the European Union-funded BREEDTECH Project on Friday, bringing together university management, project partners, researchers, and representatives of the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) to assess progress, impact, and long-term sustainability
In a meeting with Egerton University Vice Chancellor Prof. Isaac Kibwage, government officials, university leaders and agricultural industry representatives welcomed the revival of the 4K-Club programme, a school-based initiative aimed at introducing young people to farming.
