The National Chairperson of the Agricultural Society of Kenya Mrs. Annabelle Kirinya;
Nakuru ASK Branch Chairperson Dr Perminus Migwi;
Distinguished Guests;
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Good afternoon.
It is a pleasure to join you for this luncheon. I sincerely thank the National Chairperson Mrs Kirinya and the Agricultural Society of Kenya for this thoughtful gesture and for the warm hospitality we have received throughout this year's Show.
Allow me to particularly appreciate the ASK Nakuru team. Your professionalism, dedication and excellent organization have once again delivered a successful exhibition. We value the close partnership that Egerton University has enjoyed with
the Agricultural Society of Kenya over many years. Together, we continue to promote agricultural innovation, research, education and community transformation. These shared ideals remain at the heart of Egerton University's mission.

This year's results are especially encouraging. Egerton University was honoured to win first position as the Best University Stand, the Best Stand Interpreting the Show Theme in Education and Research, and the Best Innovation and Invention Stand. We also received second position in Research and Development (Education) and Agro-processing.
These awards belong to the entire Egerton family. I congratulate our dedicated staff and our talented students whose innovations, creativity and teamwork made this achievement possible.
You have represented the University with distinction and demonstrated the practical impact of our teaching, research and extension programmes.
As we celebrate today, let us continue strengthening the partnership between Egerton University and the Agricultural Society of Kenya for the benefit of our farmers, our youth and our nation.
Thank you, and God bless you all.
