Egerton University officially began receiving first-year students on Monday, 18th August 2025, marking the start of the new academic year. The institution was abuzz with activity as students flocked to the campus in large numbers, eager to embark on their academic journey.
Despite cloudy skies that threatened rainfall, the University made deliberate efforts to ensure a smooth reception. Transportation was provided from the main gate to various faculties, enabling students to access their destinations with ease.
Faculties such as the Faculty of Education and Community Studies (FEDCOS) and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) witnessed an impressive turnout, with new students reporting in high spirits.
