ADVERSTISEMENT FOR EUAA MASTERS RESEARCH GRANTS

Egerton University Alumni Association is pleased to announce Research Grants for 2024/2025 Academic Year to Egerton University Registered Masters Students in all academic fields. Successful Alumni will each receive a Masters Research Grant of Kenya Shilling One Hundred Thousands (Ksh. 100,000).
 
ELIGIBILITY
Graduate Students are eligible to apply for EUAA Research Grants if they:
· Are Kenyan Citizen by the time of application
· Had studied in Egerton University for the first degree and graduated within the last 10 years.
· Have attained a 2nd Class Honours Upper Division or above
· Have successfully defended their proposal
· Provide evidence of approval of their proposal by Graduate School
· Have activated their EUAA membership
 
RESEARCH GRANT AWARD CRITERIA
The award criteria will be based on:
1. Academic Merit 50%
2. Achievement and Awards 20%
3. Leadership/community service 20%
4. Personality 10%
Total 100%
 
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
A copy of the application including relevant testimonials should be submitted to the Alumni Relations Office, located in Njoro Campus through Email: alumni.relations@egerton.ac.ke or physical delivery by 30th August 2025.
The attached documents should include: Curriculum Vitae, Undergraduate Certificate and Transcripts, Masters Transcripts, letters of recommendation from the Supervisor and the Chair of the Department and evidence of EUAA Alumni membership activation.
