The ICT centre has a central role of providing clear guidance in the integration of technology in teaching, learning, research and overall administration of the University.
The centre ensures that IT infrastructure, service delivery norms and new applications deployments are in line with current industry trends that result in adding true value to the university.
About ICT
The centre falls under the Administration & Finance docket of the university.
It has three main arms:
Service Delivery:
Ensures availability of IT applications, consistent network connectivity and user support administration across various campuses of the University.
System Development:
Manages innovations, new application development and rollout.
Administration:
Manages day to day running of the centre and is the key link to external IT service providers. Develops IT policies and strategic plans for the University.
