THE CHANCELLOR
The Chancellor is the head of Egerton University and confers degrees and diplomas and other awards of the University. The Chancellor from time to time inspects the University with regard to students, staff, teaching, research, physical facilities, and living and working environment.
The Chancellor may, from time to time, hold discussions with the Council, the Vice Chancellor, University Senate, staff and students regarding the management of the University. The Chancellor also appoints the Vice Chancellor following consultation with the University Council.
