Message from Chairman of Department
The Department of Medical Physiology at Egerton University, Faculty of Health Sciences was established in 2008. It is involved in teaching and research with various cadres of students including: MBChB, BSc. Clinical Medicine and BSc. Nursing students. The department opened its doors with only two teaching staff members. However, the number has increased to six, with an additional two on part time basis. The staff members are committed to the call of teaching and research and currently are involved in various research projects in Masters and PhD work as part of staff development and progression. We will soon start departmental courses at BSc, MSc and PhD levels.
