Mr. Peter Onsongo Ogeto
Coordinator, Judicial Affairs and Moot Courts
Mr. Peter Onsongo Ogeto is a lecturer in the Department of Private Law and Legal Research. He holds a Masters Degree in Public International Law of Southampton Solent University, a Bachelors Degree in Law of University of Nairobi and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law of Kenya School of Law. Mr Ogeto is the Coordinator for Judicial Attachment and Moot Courts.
Mr. Ogeto’s current doctoral research project compares applications of the doctrine of margin of appreciation in regional human rights courts such as the European Human Rights Court and the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights. His teaching research interests include African human rights systems, public international law, constitutional law, and comparative law.
Mr. Ogeto is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a member of the Law Society of Kenya, a member East African Law Society and Rift Valley Law Society of Kenya.
