African Institute for Capacity Development (AICAD) is a Regional International Institution whose main mandate is poverty reduction by linking knowledge to application. The Institute is jointly funded by the Governments of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. AICAD Head Office is located in Juja, Kiambu County, Kenya. AICAD has country offices in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda located at Egerton University in Nakuru

Egerton University is partnering in the implementation of the REFOOUTURE II project. The “Partnership to Strengthen Graduate Training and Research Capacity for Developing Climate Smart Agrifood Systems in Central and East Africa (CSAS)”.

In partnership with the Partnership for African Social and Governance Research (PASGR), Egerton University is thrilled to announce the successful recipients of the prestigious DAAD In-Country/In-Region scholarship for the collaborative Master of Research and Public Policy (MRPP) programme.

Mastercard Foundation has partnered with the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM; www.ruforum.org), a network of 129 universities in 38 African countries to Transform African Agricultural Universities (TAGDev) to meaningfully contribute to Africa’s growth and development. The aim of the partnership is to transform African agricultural universities and their graduates to better respond to developmental challenges through enhanced application of science, technology, business and innovation for rural agricultural transformation.
